Following judgement on petitions by the State and National Assembly Election Tribunal in Jos, Senator I.D.Gyang has expressed mix feelings given the outcome in respect to PDP candidates whose cases couldn’t scale through at the Tribunal.
In this regard, Senator Gyang in a statement issued on Wednesday by his SA Media and Protocol, Musa Ashoms his urged affected colleagues in the persons of Nde Paradang, Rt Hon Johnbull Shekarau, Hon Timothy Golu and Jonathan Dabo to remain hopeful and strong in their faith in God aware that His (God) thoughts and plans for his people are good and guarantees our future.
Without prejudice to the legal options of proceeding on appeal, Senator Gyang holds that the current set back is not a terminal point in the political calling and service of his colleagues to our people and nation.
Senator Gyang says he stands together with his affected colleagues and the greater PDP family on the Plateau as we await with great hope the judgement of the Governorship election Tribunal in respect to Senator General J.T. Useni.
Senator Gyang says he is persuaded in the saying that no tyranny of circumstance can permanently imprison a determined will, moreso that as a party, we are on the rise and not going down.
