2023: Senator Oyelola Ashiru Writes Letter To Kwara South People

I congratulate the good people of Kwara South Senatorial District for witnessing the turn of a new year 2023. We give thanks to God Almighty for His goodness and mercy.

Undoubtedly, last year has delivered bountiful dividends to our Senatorial District. From education, power, tourism, human capital development to construction of roads and construction of health care centers. Kwara South under my watch has witnessed a developmental turnaround.

In addition to the monumental physical structures, we have been able to pass into law, the establishment of the University of History and Archaeology Esie and upgrade Federal Polytechnic Offa into a degree awarding institution. These two achievements will improve our human capital development and provide direct and indirect jobs.

It is worthy of note that we were able to achieve all these people oriented projects because of the help and continuous support of our royal fathers, community leaders and the entire populace of Kwara South. We appreciate this support and promise never to relent in our quest to turn Kwara South to a developed city.

2023 is another significant year. A year that would usher us into a season of political decision. While we have enjoyed the love and support of our people, it is important to note that the foundation of development we have laid for the past four years need to be built upon to ensure our continual growth.

I therefore solicit the support of all and sundry for all candidates of our great party, APC, in the forth coming general election. Your support will ensure continuity in government and further delivery of the dividends of democracy.
