2023: Tinubu Will Make a Good President -Bolarinwa

The state Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Hon Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa has stated that Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will make a good President for Nigeria.

Bolarinwa disclosed this while featuring in an exclusive interview with Channels TV on Tinubu’s declaration for 2023 Presidency on the platform of APC.

The former council chairman in Lagos and two term House of Representatives member said Tinubu possessed good credentials and track record to become Nigeria’s President.

His words: “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu said he has informed President Muhammadu Buhari of his intention to run for Presidency come 2023 and not to Nigerians. I Bashir Omolaja Bolarinwa as one of his disciples, am using this opportunity to call on him to declare his intention publicly to Nigerians.

“He has a very good chance to become President. He will make a good President going by his background and track record. He was Lagos State Governor from 1999 to 2007, we know how he met the state and transformed it. One of his achievements was to come up with master plan for Lagos State that why the state you see the state witnessing development year in-year out in area of Infrastructural development. You will notice that people after him ar doing less of thinking due to the master plan designed by Tinubu.

“He had require testimonial to fit to the position of President having served as governor of most populous state in Nigeria (Lagos is mini Nigeria).

“He is a detribalized Nigeria. He is a fisher and good manager of men that is why you will see a number of people can be pointed out as been pass through his school of politics at notable place in the country. The Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo served as a Commissioner under Tinubu and successfully increase local government in the state from 20 to 57. This is what most of the state governors are copying now. Even though Asiwaju is a practicing Muslim, he cares less about your religion and his wife is a practicing christian. Tinubu believes in putting round peg in the right hole.

The APC Chieftain therefore urged party faithfuls nationwide to support Tinubu’s Presidential ambition, saying “We have got good Presidential Candidate in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I appeal to party member to support him as the national leader of our great party.”
