2027: APC Plots Shettima’s Exit, Names Borno man As Acting National Chairman
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has commenced high level politicking to replace Vice President Kashim Shettima as President Tinubu’s running mate ahead of 2027 general elections.
This follows the resignation of APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje on Friday citing health issues.
FactualTimes reports that the ruling party has named Ali Bukar Dalori who is from Borno in Northeast zone as new Acting National Chairman.
Dalori previously served as Chairman of APC in Borno State.
Political Observers say the move might be part of long-term plan to scheme out Shettima ahead 2027 Presidential Election.
Recall that the endorsement of Tinubu without making reference to the Vice President led to rancour at APC Northeast zonal meeting two weeks ago.
