No fewer than 7878 farmers are expected to participate in screening and validating for Fadama NG-CARES (Nigeria Covid-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus).
This follows release of fund by Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for screening, validating and selecting the Phase One of the Fadama NG-CARES.
This was announced via a statement made available to FactualTimes in Ilorin on Monday by Project Communications Officer,
Kwara Fadama NG-CARES Coordination Office, Dr Sangodare Ayinla.
Ayinla revealed that the fund will also be used for the preparation of Community Action Recovery Plans (CARPs) for the the Community Farmers’ Associations in the Local Government Areas concerned.
Our correspondent reports that the Governor had earlier release fund for project preparatory activities which including sensitisation of stakeholders across the sixteen LGAs through visit, press releases, and radio jingles in five languages.
