Abdulmujib Olaniyi Condemns Kaiama Killing, Sympathizes With Kwara Govt
A Stalwart of All Progressives Congress (APC) and Founder of Mujib Adeola Olaniyi Foundation, Abdulmujib Adeola Olaniyi has condemned the killing of over 100 people in Woro, Kaiama local government of Kwara State by terrorists on Tuesday.
Olaniyi in a statement issued on Thursday condemned the killing of innocent rural dwellers by Boko Haram, describing the incident as troubling and saddening.
He noted that the growing insecurity in Kwara State calls for collective and decisive action to flush out bad elements killing innocent Nigerians.
Olaniyi however acknowledged the prompt action of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and President Bola Tinubu towards restoring peace and order to affected Kaiama communities.
His words: “The deployment of over 1000 soldiers to Kaiama by President Bola Tinubu following the request of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq will bring relief to affected communities. This shows we have proactive leaders in the state and Nigeria.”
Olaniyi sympathised with the Emir of Kaiama, Kwara State Government and bereaved families. He prays that Almighty Allah will comfort them and restore lasting peace to every part of the state.
