The Young Progressives Party YPP Kwara House of Assembly candidate in Ajikobi/Alanamu Constituency, Barr. Abdullateef Aladodo has stepped down for the candidate of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Alhaja Aishat Babatunde.
Aladodo stated this in Ilorin on Thursday while addressing the press.
According to him; I Barr. Abdullateef Aladodo hereby adopts the candidature of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Alhaja Aishat Babatunde for Re-election as the Governor and for the State House Assembly respectively.
“The political alignment was informed by the need to forge a common front to remove our dear state from the list of misgoverned and impoverished states.
“Through simplified and transparent governance processes, with the sole purpose of improving the quality and standard of living of our people which has been the definition of Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq’s administration,”.
He urged all his supporters vote massively for Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Alhaja Aishat Babatunde on Saturday.
Alafado also said that the alignment was only hinged on the need to work for the victory of APC, noting that he followed the instructions of Waziri Yakubu Gobir for his supporters.
