Amofin Akogun Congratulates Kwara PDP New Ward Executives
Amofin (Barr.) Titilope Joseph Akogun has congratulated the newly inaugurated ward executives of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 42 wards of Irepodun, Ekiti, Isin and Oke Ero Federal Constituency, describing their emergence as a fresh opportunity to reposition the party for victory and service to the people.
In his goodwill message, Akogun hailed the unity and resilience of party stakeholders, stressing that the new leadership must hit the ground running in mobilizing, organizing, and strengthening the PDP at the ward levels.
“This is not the time for celebrations alone; it is the time to work. Our people are counting on us to provide credible leadership, restore hope, and deliver real progress. The people are suffering and not smiling. They are eagerly waiting for the time to put an end to the monstrous leaders we currently have in our Federal Constituency that prioritises politics than securely and true representation of the people that elected them. Together, we must rise to the task,” Akogun said.
He further assured the executives of his unflinching support, urging them to carry every member along in the spirit of inclusivity, teamwork, and commitment to democratic ideals.
“There is more division within the Kwara PDP and the intra conflicts within them is at an alarming rate. The cohesion and unity of purpose within the Peoples Democratic Party in Kwara need to be advanced, while we must appreciate the credible leadership of Sen (Dr) Abubakar Bukola Saraki, for strengthening the party and providing the clear path for the party to return to power in 2027.
As a party, we will continue to be resilient and will provide a strong Opposition that ignites Hope and return the people to the part of economic prosperity”.
