Anambra 2021: Governor Inuwa Heads APC Primaries Appeal Committee

Governor Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has been appointed as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary election appeal committee for Anambra 2021 governorship poll.

Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), Senator John James Akpanudoedehe said Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved appointment of five-member Appeal Committee in a statement made available to FactualTimes on Monday.

The Appeal Committee for Anambra 2021  will be inaugurated on Wednesday at the Party’s National Secretariat, Abuja.

Other committee members are Senator Julius Ucha, Hajia Maryam Mamu Salifu, Alhaji Bukar Ali Dalori and Dr. Ijeoma Arodiogbu  who will serve as Secretary.

”In this capacity, the five-member committee is expected to hear all appeals arising from the conduct of the Primary Election in line with the provisions of our Party’s Constitution and Guidelines for the nomination of candidates.” The statement noted.

Recall that Senator Andy Uba won the APC’s direct primary election for Anambra 2021 conducted on Sunday.
