Another Ex-President Jonathan’s Appointee Gets World Bank Job

One-time Minister of State for Health during Good luck Ebele Jonathan’s tenure, Dr. Muhammad Ali Pate has been appointed as Global Director for Health, Nutrition and Population by World.

Dr. Pate latest appointment was announced during the week by the global bank.

Factualtimes reports that the former Health Minister joined other Good luck Jonathan appointees like Akinwumi Adesina; the President of African Development Bank, Ngozi Iweala of World Bank, Hajia Amina Mohammed; UN Deputy General Secretary and others who are serving in different international organizations.

In his congratulatory message, former President Good luck Jonathan said exhibited prodigious capacity and professionalism as a member of my cabinet.

”I congratulate Dr. Muhammad Ali Pate, my former Minister of State for health over his appointment by World Bank as Global Director for health, nutrition, and population.

”Since he left the country in 2013 to take up an international appointment, Dr. Pate has continued to soar like an eagle on the global scale. He exhibited prodigious capacity and professionalism as a member of my cabinet. I have no doubt that he will do very well in his new position. Congratulations”
