APAOKAGI CONGRATULATES PROF SULEIMAN
The Kwara Central Senatorial candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in 2023 general elections; Dr Apaokagi Ridwanullahi Salahudeen has congratulated his senior professional colleague, Prof Wale Suleiman on his appointment as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman Governing Council of the Federal University of Medical Sciences, Ila- Orangun.
In a statement released on Friday, 19th May, 2023 by the Director General of his defunct Campaign Organization, Dr Apaokagi described Prof Wale Suleiman as an untiring trailblazer who is blessed with unequalled passion for the growth and development of Nigeria.
The SDP senatorial flag bearer noted that Prof Wale Suleiman has always demonstrated a burning desire to contribute to the advancement of the country which he observed was responsible for his earlier decision to venture into partisan politics.
According to him, this new appointment will definitely create a fresh platform for the renowned world class neurosurgeon to use his vast global experience in health care and medical science to improve the lots of the Nigerian health sector and more importantly, to contribute substantially to the well-being and sustainable livelihood of Nigerians in the long run.
While noting that Prof Suleiman’s appointment is a big lesson to all that, striving for excellence can eventually be rewarding.
Apaokagi used the opportunity to applaud the Federal Government for putting the right peg in the right hole towards making the Federal University of Medical Science, Ila-Orangun a global centre of excellence as he expressed confidence in the ability of the newly appointed Pro-Chancellor to lead the institution to world class standard and international reckoning.
