Archeology University Esie Will Boost Kwara Economy – Sen Ashiru
Senator Oyelola Ashiru, joined sons and daughters of Esie Kingdom, to celebrate the 35th anniversary on the throne of Elesie of Esie, Oba Alhaji Yakubu Agboola Ibrahim Babalola.
The Senator, who was the guest of honour in the occasion, appreciated the Paramount ruler of Esie Kingdom, the good people of Esie, for their community service in education, for the morals and discipline that was instilled into him when he was a student at Esie Iludun Grammar School.
“The good people of Esie, what you planted back then between 1968 and 1972 has now become the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
“There is little I can give back to this society compared to what I have benefited, more reasons why I sponsored A bill for the Establishment of University of History, Archeology Esie, which will add more to economic prosperity for not just Esie but to Irepodun, Igbomina and Kwara State as a whole when accented”.
Senator Ashiru who was an old student of the great Esie-Iludun Grammar School, with his old classmates and old friends had a nostalgic moment that was appealing to others guest.
