Capacity Building: JC Sam Foundation Trains 250 Youths in Oyun LG
In bid to empower and build leadership capacity in the grassroot communities, JC Sam Foundation parleyed Wave Africa and Sead Africa to train 250 people in entrepreneurship soft skills.
The participants comprising youths and women were trained free of charge on course contents including Peace and Conflict resolution, Emotional intelligence, team work, business idea generation and brand management.
During the training, the participants were divided into five groups to generate business idea that can strive and add value to their immediate community.
According to CEO JC Sam Foundation, Ilufoye Samson, the presentation with fantastic ideas with good business model were rewarded with cash prize.
Ilufoye Samson while addressing newsmen said the training aimed at empowering the youths in rural communities with soft skills to reduce unemployment and make them self-reliant.
Prominent personalities such as NIWOSEC Executive Director, Dr David Ehindero, Oyun APC Chairman and others witnessed certificate presentation on Saturday September 9, 2023.
