CKNG Urges Federal, State Govts To Help Rain Storm Victims In Baruten, Edu LGs

Coalition of Kwara North Groups (CKNG) has called Federal and state governments as well as individuals to help victims of rain storm in Baruten and Edu local government areas.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by their Chairman, Com Musa Idris Buko and Media and Publicity Secretary, Com Aliyu Bala Issa.

The Coalition of Kwara North Groups (CKNG) sympathizes with the people of Yakiru, Gwanara District; Likpata, Lafiagi Ward IV; in Baruten and Edu Local Government Areas respectively, over the devastating rain storm that wrecked havoc on the people of the community; rendering them homeless and resulting in loss of properties worth millions of naira, including a primary school and electricity installations.

CKNG, uses this medium to appeal to both federal and state governments, and well meaning individuals to intervene in alleviating the unexpected hardship the people are going through.

Similarly, CKNG urges the good people of Kwara North to be mindful of the likely dangers of raining season and put necessary measures in place to avert possible damages.
