Crown Charity Trust Founder, Adebayo Bags Chieftaincy, Awards Scholarship To Varsity Students

A non-governmental organization (NGO), Crown Charity Trust is awarding a full scholarship to a new beneficiary under CCT Students Scholarship Scheme. The scholarship which will cover up for the school fee, upkeep & allowances will run for the five year course of the student in Nigeria university.

Crown Charity Trust (CCT) has been supporting education, entrepreneurship, aging people, and indigent in Nigeria for almost a decade. “We have been paying for WAEC examinations for number of students who required help under the group Iwo Descendants Coalition (IDC) before the registration of CCT.” The largesse was later extended to others across the country after the registration of the organization.

Crown Charity Trust is currently having two undergraduates in the university who are beneficiaries of ”CCT Students Scholarship Scheme”. The organisation has produced a graduate who is currently working in the labour market.

The Nigeria born, UK based entrepreneur & philanthropist Sefiu Adebayo MUFUTAU who is the founder CEO Crown Charity Trust (CCT) disclosed that the new beneficiary of CCT Student Scholarship Scheme will be unveil at the coronation event increasing the number of beneficiaries.

The event will also witness the conferment of chieftaincy title of Bobakeye & Yeye Bobakeye of Elegberun land to the founder and CEO of the organization Sefiu Adebayo MUFUTAU and his wife Adetoun MUFUTAU respectively.

Conferring the chieftaincy title HRM Oba Dr Adedokun Evans Okero Ademiluyi (Akinmoyero 1) Okero of Elegberun land Ile-Ife laud the exceptional philanthropic life of Adebayo who is a man of integrity, dignity and of impeccable character which is why the ruling council of Elegberun land deem it fit to honour him & his wife with such a high chieftaincy title.

Adebayo also disclosed that donation will be raised for the “Operation Help a Nigeria Pupil with a Better Learning Environment” where we look forward to raising a total of N72 million to construct, renovate and equip three public schools in Iwo LGA, Ola-Oluwa LGA, and Ayedire LGA in Osun State in the first phase of the project as plans are on top gear to extend the project to other part of the country.

The coronation, fund raising & scholarship award event is scheduled to hold on Saturday 26th August, 2023 at Cristal Heritage Hall, Paraking Ile-Ife, Osun State.

Dignitaries expected at the event include His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi (Ilufemiloye 1), Oluwo of Iwo land, m; Senator (Dr.) Akogun Lere Oyewumi (SFRN), Hon. Mudasiru Lukmon Kayode, and a host of others.
