Deepen acts of charity after Ramadan, Ali Ahmad Muslim faithful

Former Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly and Professor of Constitutional Law, Prof. Ali Ahmad has congratulated Muslim faithful on completion of Ramadan and the occasion of the 2024 Eid-ul-Fitr.

Prof Ali Ahmad in a statement issued by his Media Aide, Steve Makinde appealed to adherents to embrace the spirit of solidarity and deepen their acts of charity and universal love.

The former speaker prayed for peace, tranquility, and economic prosperity for Nigeria, hoping that the supplications of the 30-day fasting will bring complete healing and stability to the nation.

The statement reads, “As we complete the 30-day fasting, I congratulate the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the 2024 Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. While the Holy month of Ramadan is all about drawing oneself closer to Almighty Allah and bringing out the best in the life of the believers, I urge our brothers and sisters to imbibe the spirit of solidarity and deepen the acts of charity, and universal love.

“Also, let’s all pray for peace, tranquillity, and economic prosperity for our dear country. I hope that the supplications of the 30-day fasting bring complete healing and stability to the nation. Our dear country is in dire straits and needs a better hand to steer her ship to the promised land. May all the blessings of Ramadan abide with us all. May we experience peace, prosperity, and joy in all ramifications.”
