Drug Abuse: KAF Organizes SOCCER COMPETITION 

 

In its bid to take the campaign against drug to the grassroot, a non non governmental organisation, Kayode Adamolekun Foundation has concluded plan to organise its maiden Kayode Adamolekun Inter secondary secondary school football competition in Ekiti state.

The Football competition aimed at creating awareness against drug abuse will commence on May 5, 2023.

In a statement signed by the founder of the Foundation, Engr Kayode Adamolekun noted that competition themed ” Playing for a drug free society” will be an avenue to take the war against drug to all across board, as football universally has been one of the best medium to send message to mass audience.

Adamolekun stressed that the game will create avenue to discuss with youths on the of danger of drug abuse as well as create an enabling environment for rehabilitation.

He noted that sensitization tournament became necessary due the issue of Substance Abuse among teenagers and young adults, noting that the leaders of tomorrow, falling under the weight of peer pressure and sheer ignorance, by wasting their precious lives away to addiction.

Adamolekun said he will never relent in his quest to ensure a drug free society as he would ensure he play his huge part to ensure a society free of drugs.
