Edward Onoja Gifts Three Kogi Entrepreneurs SUVs

 

Kogi State Deputy Governor,  Chief Edward Onoja has gifted Sports Utility Vehicles to three young entrepreneurs, Alh. Umoru Abu (AKA Tablet of Anyigba, Dekina LGA), Emma Prince Oruma (Ankpa LGA) and CEO, Enemona Foundation, Mr. Gabriel David Onoja (Inele Olamaboro LGA), son of Chief Oloro over the weekend.

Chief Onoja said the gifting of the vehicles to these individuals of Kogi East extraction was in recognition of their spirited efforts in supporting the needy and astute commitments to community development in their domains.

He observed that they have been exemplary in complementing government’s efforts of tackling unemployment by creating enabling job opportunities for young minds, engaging in women empowerment, and offering facelifts for the underprivileged, particularly across Igala Land which aligns with the objectives of the New Direction Government, thereby eradicating crime and other related vices.

The jubilant car recipients appreciated Chief Onoja for the gesture and acknowledged his contributions to the growth and development of Kogi State in assisting his boss which is also manifested in the priority given to security and handshake with key investors for the socio-economic prosperity of the State.

Earlier, Chief Onoja inspected the ongoing construction of the United Evangelical Church Inele, Olamabro LGA of Kogi State, carried out by astute businessman and CEO, Enemona Foundation, Mr. David Gabriel Onoja, who is son to Chief David Onoja, the Oloro of Ayede Ogbese, a respected community leader and leader of the APC in Ward 5, Inele, Olamaboro LGA.

Addressing the gathered crowd, Chief Onoja said Mr. Gabriel deserves commendation for allowing himself to be used as God’s vessel to situate a befitting edifice for Christian worship for the community, something he says endears anyone to him as he takes God’s work seriously.

He said through the Enemona Foundation, Mr. Gabriel David Onoja, at 37, has been consistent in reaching out to the vulnerable within the Kogi State, Igala Land, and the country at large. He used the opportunity to pledge financial donations of N5 million to the foundation which is used to support widows, youths and other categories of the needy.

He extolled Mr Gabriel for his philanthropy in creating legitimate job opportunities for the women and youths in his area, calling on God’s blessings to reign in his life and also the fortitude to keep the streak with his foundation.

Chief Oloro who received the gift on behalf of his son appreciated the gesture and prayed for more wisdom.
