Eji/Lanwa Constituency: Ayodele Azeez Aligns with APC Leadership Directive, Steps down
Kwara State House of Assembly hopeful, Ayodimeji Ayodele Azeez as embraced APC leadership directive by withdrawing from Ejidongari/Lanwa State Constituency Race ahead 2023 General elections.
Ayodimeji Ayodele Azeez in a statement issued on Thursday said he stepped down for the all round success of our party in the forth coming general election and development of his constituency.
His words: “Greetings to all my political associates and loyalists, party faithful and general public.
“After wide consultations within our great party, All Progressive Congress (APC) and the necessary stakeholders of our dear constituency, I came to conclusion to step aside for the all round success of our party in the forth coming general election and development of our constituency.
“Looking round the seven (7) wards in our constituency, its obvious that, the past and current representatives had/is doing everything possible to raise the status of our people and our community at large which I decided to join the leagues of the people who contribute to the development of Ejidongari-Lanwa and by extension our local government (Moro).
“To my people in Jebba, leaders of our party and stakeholders who supported my ambition to this present moment, I appreciate you all.
“Moreso, I urge all my loyalists, party members and the general public to keep supporting our great party and our working Governor and leader, Mall. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq for continuity of the good work in progress.”
