Ekiti 2022: Why APC Should Nominate Aspirant That Took Bullet for the Party?

On this very day, June 1, 2018 when the bullet hit him in his stomach and upper thigh, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele (MOB) was fasting!

Yes that is how much of faith in God MOB has. When he was being rescued and taken to the hospital, no ‘bante’, ‘gbekude’ or ‘akaraba’ (bullet proof charms) was found on him.

Senator Bamidele is a God-fearing politician, a rare one for that matter. You have heard so much about politicians and juju (charms and dark powers) but here is a different breed of politician whose only belief rest on God.

A righteous man prays (beforehand) to avert the evil day. That was exactly what saved him from the arrows that wasted on the noonday of June 1, 2018. And because he was waiting on the Lord, his strength was renewed and saved from death!

Proverbs 29:2: “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”

Ekiti kete, it is time to rejoice because God’s anointed is here. Let’s support a man that will bring a different outlook to the way we run politics.

Let us support a man that will rule our state with the fear of God.

Let us support a man that will always bless his subject and not curse them!

Let us nominate a man that helps the poor and lift the weak rather than the ones that exploit and trod upon them!

Let us vote a man that is well experienced and most qualified rather than elect a man who needs tutelage in governance!

Let us allow a man that resides both an innate and developed empathy, who will treat his people like humans that they are rather than a thing to be used ordinarily!

Let us elect a new age leader with competence, experience, practical intelligence, highly intellectual and empathic and God-fearing.

Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele is a man destined to lead Ekiti at a time like this when prosperity is the sole yearning of our people.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice…(because they live in plenty). Psalm 72 talks about what will happen to Ekiti or anywhere when the righteous leads.

“…There shall be abundance of grain in the soil upon the top of the mountains. That is, the least fruitful place in Ekiti will have abundance of food; the fruit of it shall wave like [the forests of] Lebanon, and [the inhabitants of] the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.”

It is the Lord who has said it. All that we need to do as a people to enjoy what the unfailing word of God has said is to simply ‘elect’ righteous leaders in government. That is our own responsibility! To elect!

Starting from January 22, this responsibility rests on APC delegates who will elect a nominee at the party governorship primary and then the whole #ekiti people on June 18, 2022.

Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele is a man saved by God to serve!
Elect him!
