EMEFIELE Now in Our CUSTODY – DSS

The Department of State Services (DSS) has confirmed the arrest of former Central Bank Governor,  Mr Godwin Emefiele.

The DSS Spokesman, Peter Afunanya disclosed this in a statement made available to FactualTimes in Abuja on Saturday.

According to him, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is now in its custody for some investigative reasons.

“The public, particularly the Media, is enjoined to apply utmost caution in the reportage and narratives concerning this.” He added.

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu suspended Emefiele on Friday to give room for thorough investigation of allegations leveled against him.
