Emir’s leadership has brought remarkable peace, interfaith harmony – Prof Sulaiman

I would like to celebrate the notable reign of the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the occasion of his 85th birthday.

I congratulate Emir Sulu-Gambari for reaching this significant milestone of eighty-five years, a period marked by impactful and inspirational service to the Ilorin emirate, Kwara State, Nigeria, and most importantly, to Almighty Allah and humanity.

Since his ascension to the throne in 1995, nearly three decades ago, the Emir’s leadership has brought about remarkable peace and interfaith harmony, along with numerous unprecedented accomplishments in all areas of the ancient city of Ilorin.

As an esteemed community leader in Ilorin and a prominent Kwaran, I wish the 11th Emir of Ilorin—a beloved father figure, custodian of enduring values, and Amirul-Muminin of Islam in the emirate—many more successful years on the throne, in good health and with the strength to continue providing exceptional service to the people.
