Ex-Kwara Commissioner, Towoju Bags West Africa Youth Assembly Award
Former Kwara State Commissioner, Hon Olabode George Towoju has bagged Award of Excellence from West Africa Youth Assembly.
Towoju who served as Kwara State Commissioners in Ministries of Communications and Youth Development under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq first tenure for his outstanding performance.
The Nigerian Chapter of West Africa Youth Assembly presented the Award of Excellence to Towoju during One-day symposium held at National Commission for Colleges of Education in Abuja on Thursday.
The Symposium with the theme: Building a Youthful Democracy: Enhancing Representation and Participation in Nigerian Politics created platform to honor the Kwara born politician for supporting youth constituency and promoting good governance.
Hon Olabode George Towoju is a grassroots politician who had his education in Nigeria and abroad. He left his comfort zone in United States of America to participate in Otoge Struggle that led to emergence of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and other Progressives in KWARA politics.
