Expect More Infrastructural Development Projects in 2023- Senator Ashiru
The Senate Deputy Chief Whip and Senator representing Kwara South, Arch Oyelola Ashiru has stated that the district will witness more infrastructural development projects in 2023.
Senator Oyelola Ashiru disclosed this on Saturday during site assessment tour to Omu-aran in Irepodun Local Government Area.
The Senator speaking at Olomu of Omuaran Palace through his Personal Assistant, Hon. Hammed Omuiyadun, says, the visit would give them opportunity to identify roads for construction in Omu-aran and other communities within the senatorial district.
According to him, Senator Oyelola Ashiru is using the recess period to bond with his constituents and identity road projects for construction to be included in 2024 budget.
He noted that the team of engineers have visited Offa and Oyun Local Government Areas for similar exercise.
The Olomu of Omuaran, Oba Abdulrasheed Adeoti while receiving the team acknowledged remarkable achievements of Senator Ashiru during his first tenure, adding that Omuaran indigenes would continue to support good initiatives.
They President Omuaran Descendants Association, Major General Olayemi Lazeez Abidoye (rtd) and Irepodun APC party chairman, Hon. Azeez Yakubu led them to identified roads for construction; Olomu way, Ilenla-Adodo junction-Ekan garage- sabo road and Alakaka-Landmark junction.
