Forum of Serving Councillors Meet Mashood Mustapha, Says ‘They Are Living in Dry Land’

The Forum of Serving Councillors in PDP across the state have lamented the poor treatment given to them by current administration.

The Forum during their visit to APC Stalwart, Hon Mashood Mustapha on Saturday disclosed that they are ready to join All Progressive Congress in order to move the state forward.

Speaking on behalf of Serving Councillors Forum, Hon Ogundele Segun James from Isin local government said they regret being Councillors under PDP administration as the government is denying them their benefits.

According to him, Kwara APC does not need them to win election, especially with outcome of Presidential and National Assembly elections where the party cleared all the seats.

He however thanked Hon. Mashood Mustapha for attending to them, promising that they will go back to their ward to join force with APC members ahead March 9 poll.

While reacting Hon Mustapha told the counsillors that APC is a very large family that is ever ready to welcome any one ready to work faithfully with them.

The former lawmaker assured them that all their benefits will be paid by incoming administration under Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq.

He therefore charged them to get ready to fight for liberation of their Constituency and Kwara at large, noting that it is a risk but it worth taking.
