Fuel Subsidy Removal: States Get N185bn for Palliative
Federal Government has announced N5billion palliative for each state of the federation, including the federal capital territory (FCT), to cushion the impact of the removal of the petrol subsidy.
Borno state governor, Prof Babagana Zulum made the announcement in Abuja on Thursday while addressing State House correspondents at the end of National Economic Council (NEC) meeting.

FactualTimes reports that Vice President Kashim Shettima presided over the meeting.
The meeting was attended by governors of the 36 states, the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), and other coopted government officials.
