Gobir Advises Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq Not To Betray Public Trust
APC Stalwart, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir has advised Kwara State Governor Elect, Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq not to betray public trust.
In a statement released on Monday, Waziri Yakubu Gobir congratulated Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and the 24 House of Assembly candidates on their victory, which he described as a clean sweep.
According to him, the victory was more resounding than even the Presidential and National Assembly victory on February 23, 2019. This shows that the electorate’s confidence in APC in Kwara is now total
Alhaji Gobir implored Alhaji Abdulrasaq not to betray the trust reposed in him, and asked for Allah’s guidance in all his undertakings, noting that the people of Kwara State have high expectations of the incoming APC government.
He however cautioned that 16 years of mismanagement of the affairs of the state, could not be corrected overnight. The incoming APC government needs to assess the situation and put in place a road map to recovery.
”However, Allah that chose Alhaji Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq to lead the state at this time knew why he chose him. Let us allow Allah’s plans manifest.” He added
Gobir also rejoiced with the Abdulrasaq family on this momentous occassion. The entire Gobir family is proud of Abdulrahman as a childhood friend, brother and now Kwara’s No.1 citizen.
