Gobir Gets Award From Youth Group
The governorship candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Kwara State, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir has been presented with a meritorious Award by the Empirical Vanguard For Peace and Progress (EVPP), a Youth Group in Grand-Plus College of Education Ilorin.
Receiving the Award on behalf of Gobir, the YPP deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Bolujoko George thanked the EVPP for counting Alhaji Yakubu Gobir worthy of such an award.
He noted that human capacity development and youth empowerment will be given top priority by their administration when elected in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
The group explained that the Madawaki of Ilorin, Alhaji Yakubu Gobir was honoured in recognition of his enormous contribution towards education and his social entrepreneurship strides.
They urged him to continue his good deeds and prayed to God to bless him.
