Gobir To Dialogue With Kwara Youth

THE UNIQUENESS OF THE PROGRAM:
Kwara State had produced many leaders who came up with various plans to develop the State, while we must appreciate previous efforts, Kwara State today needs holistic planning and a pragmatic leader to turn her fortune around.

Based on this understanding, an astute administrator and Chief Executive of Smartmark Limited, Waziri Yakubu Gobir who is running for the Office of Governor of the State on the platform of the Young Progressives Party has decided to partner with a grassroots-oriented NGO (ENetSuD) to research the actual challenges in the various communities across Kwara State and has decided to discuss with the youth on his findings and the best way to galvanise their energy, creativity and innovation to drive the state economy and political development, when elected.

*BENEFITS*
The dialogue would provide an opportunity for participants to know the actual challenges in their various communities and the way forward.

It would give young people the opportunity to get involved in the political and economic development of their communities and their state by extension.

It would create an avenue for the participants to have a physical relationship with their aspiring leader and ask questions on areas of his development agenda that might not be clear to them.

Participants would have an idea of what their communities would be when a pragmatic leader is elected to govern their state.

Beyond promoting ideas and proffering solutions, the driving objective of the Dialogue is to galvanise robust workable ideas from critical stakeholders and enthusiasts that would aid the decision-making on development.

The platform is not only set to discuss phenomenal issues but also ensure that the solutions provided by individuals and stakeholders are practically used.
