Gombe Governor Commends Tinubu over Prof Duna’s Reappointment as NBRRI DG

Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has hailed the reappointment of Prof. Samson Duna as the Director General of the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) for another four-year term.

Prof. Duna, who hails from Billiri Local Government Area, has been serving as the Director General of NBRRI since his initial appointment in 2020.

Governor Inuwa in a statement issued by his Spokesman, Ismailia Uba Misilli described him as an illustrious son of Gombe State and a shining example of commitment to excellence and professionalism.

The Governor noted that his vast experience and network have been instrumental in driving forward Nigeria’s infrastructural research and development.

“We are immensely proud of Prof. Duna’s achievements. His reappointment by Mr. President is a validation of his exceptional leadership and commitment to excellence in the engineering profession.
We are confident that he will continue to make Gombe State and Nigeria proud”, he remarked.

The Governor assured Prof. Duna of the solidarity, support and goodwill of the government and people of Gombe State as he continues in his role.
