Gombe Governor Commiserates with Joshua Danmalam Over Mother’s Death,

 

…as SSG Leads Delegation on Condolence visit

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has sent a delegation led by the Secretary to the state Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi to condole with Mr. Joshua Danmalam, an Information officer in the Government House over the demise of his mother, Mama Milka Danmalam who died on Saturday.

Mama Milka died at the age of 80 years and was survived by seven children and many grand children.

Conveying the Governor’s condolence message at the deceased’s residence in Wili Village, Pokwangli community in Kaltungo Local Government area, the Secretary to the State Government described the death of Mama Milka as a great loss not only to her immediate family and community but to the state as a whole.

He noted that the pain of loosing a mother is enormous, consoling the family she left behind to take solace in the fact that Mama lived a worthy life and left behind an enduring legacy through her children, among whom is Joshua, whom the SSG described as hard working and dedicated staff that the government is proud of.

He prayed for the repose of the soul of the departed and God Almighty to grant her family the fortitude to bear the great loss.

Speaking on behalf of the family, Mr. Shehu Umar Wazirin Kalorgu thanked Governor Inuwa Yahaya in particular and the delegation for such a solidarity visit and show of love which he said will remain indelible in their hearts and that the people of the community will remain eternally grateful for the gesture. He however noted that such demonstration of concern is not surprising considering Governor Yahaya’s track record of care giving, love and support to the people.

On the Secretary to the State Government’s delegation were the Permanent Secretary (SS & POL), Senior Special Assistant and other Special Assistants on Media to the Governor, Directors and other staff of the Government House as well as colleagues in the pen profession.
