Gombe Governor Congratulates Amb Lamuwa As He Becomes Permanent Secretary

Gombe state Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has congratulated Ambassador Adamu Ibrahim Lamuwa on his appointment as a Federal Permanent Secretary.

Governor Inuwa in a statement issued on Thursday by his spokesman, Ismaila Uba Misilli described Ambassador Lamuwa as an experienced technocrat, thorough-bred diplomat and international relations expert who has been a shining star and good ambassador of the State in his civil service and diplomatic sojourn.

“I am highly delighted and excited with the appointment of our illustrious son, Ambassador Adamu Lamuwa Ibrahim by President Muhammadu Buhari as a Federal Permanent Secretary.” He noted

“No doubt, Ambassador Lamuwa’s appointment is a well deserved one, considering the wealth of experience and knowledge he has garnered over the years both as a civil servant and a career diplomat where he served diligently as the Charge d’Affaires, en titre Embassy of Nigeria in Damascus, Syria and later appointed by Mr. President as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Senegal.

“It is my sincere belief that he will bring to bear his track records of hard work, diligence, diplomatic acumen and administrative prowess while discharging the responsibilities of his new office”.

Governor Inuwa also tasked the new Permanent Secretary to continue to bring honour to Gombe state and keep on with the remarkable trajectory he is known for, assuring him of the support and solidarity of the Government and good people of Gombe state.
