We will, insha Allah continue to cherish and uphold this confidence with utmost trust by ensuring that we consolidate on the achievements we recorded in our first tenure”, he said.
He observed that in the past, the tradition was for people to be trooping to the Government House to congratulate a governor for winning elections. But for him it is the other way round, hence a leader is always a servant of his people.
The governor lamented the increasing rate of incidences relating to youth restiveness in the LGA which poses threat to the security and social well-being of the generality of the people, promising to deploy all necessary security apparatus to tackle the menace ruthlessly.

He assured the people of Yamaltu/Deba that his administration will remain resolute towards consolidating on breakthroughs so far achieved by his government in the first tenure which is notably visible in all nooks and crannies of the LGA and the state entirely.
While enjoining the people to continue supporting his policies and programmes towards ensuring that he delivers on all the promises he made and lots more, Governor Inuwa dedicated his victory at the polls to the people saying, “our victory in the elections is not for us alone it is a victory for democracy against autocracy and indeed a victory for the entire people of Gombe State”.
