Gov Ahmed’s success driven by planning-Ex- Aide

A former Special Adviser to Kwara State Governor has attributed successes recorded by Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed in area of infrastructural development to planning and effective implementation of policies.
Prince Tunji Moronfoye, a former Special Adviser on Information to Governor Ahmed disclosed this on Monday while featuring on a radio programme in Ilorin.
Moronfoye said the various ongoing projects across the state was made possible due to effective planning by the state government.
He debunked the allegation by opposition party in the state that Governor Ahmed embarks on some projects recently because of forthcoming general elections.
Moronfoye noted that the fall in global oil price between 2013 and 2016 was responsible for slow pace of development during the period.
He added that everything the state government is doing has been planned for, “the projects government is executing right now has been captured in the Kwara development plan with time and how to achieve it well documented”.
He affirmed that Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed would continue to deliver dividends of democracy to Kwarans till his last day in office.
