Governor AbdulRazaq, Saraki, Turaki, Others Pray at Ilorin Eid Ground

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, former Senate President, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Senator Saliu Mustapha,  State and Federal lawmakers and others prayed at Ilorin Eid Ground on Sunday.

The Chief Press Secretary to Kwara Governor in a teaser statement said: “After meandering through the traffic gridlock and a crowd of cheering people that are typical of the day, the Governor and his entourage — which comprises his brother and Mutawali of Ilorin Dr. Alimi AbdulRazaq — arrived the Eid in a white coaster bus at exactly 9.40am, welcomed by the large crowd and creme de la creme of the Ilorin Muslim community, including title holders of the community such as former President of the Senate Dr. Bukola Saraki; former CJN Alfa Belgore; Zanna of Ilorin Engr Lanre Sagaya; Mufti of Ilorin Sheikh Suleiman Farouk Onikijipa; and many others.

“On the entourage of the Governor are the Turaki of Ilorin and Senator representing Kwara Central Salihu Mustapha; House of Representatives members Ahmad Yinka Aluko and Mukhtar Shagaya; Kwara House of Assembly Leader Hon Magaji and his colleagues from the House; Chief of Staff to the Governor Prince Abdulkadir Mahe and other cabinet members; and several party leaders and chieftains.”

The Governor is now seated at the Eid as the congregation awaits the arrival of the Chief Imam of Ilorin Sheikh Mohammad Bashir Soliu; and the royal train of the leader of the faithful Emir of Ilorin Dr. Ibrahim Sulu Gambari.
