Governor AbdulFatah Ahmed of Kwara State has implemented projects in every part of the state.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor on Media and Publicity, Dr Muideen Akorede stated this an interview with newsmen in his office on Monday.
Akorede said all the three senatorial districts in the state have benefited from developmental projects of Governor Ahmed’s administration.
He explained: “The KWASU Satellite campus in Ilesha-Baruba, Renovation of General Hospital Kaiama, renovation of Primary Health Centers in Raniworo, pategi and Malete, Sinawu, Ilesha-Baruba-Gwanara road, Shonga-Tsaragi road, Maigida-Arobadi Road, Lafiaji Township Road, Kaiama-Tesse Road
and other road projects are situated in Kwara North.
“Other projects executed in Kwara North include construction/renovation of Classrooms, rural électrification network and installation of transformers in over 20 communities, rehabilitation of Waterworks in Lafiaji, drilling of boreholes with reticulation of 15,000-20,000 storage capacity in 10 communities.
“While Geri-Alimi Diamond Underpass, Sango-UITH road dualization, Ejiba Road, Oke Andi, Adualere Isale Ko Road, Ogbondoronko Township Road, KWASU Postgraduate Center, Ilorin Water Reticulation, Light up Kwara (LUK) and other projects in health, education and agriculture sectors among others are within Kwara Central.
“The governor has implement 200 projects in Kwara south. Some of the projects include; IVTEC Ajase-ipo, KWASU Satellite Campus, Osi, Hostel at College of Health, renovation and building of classrooms, tiolets and offices in school, distribution of transformers, water projects and others that have impacted the lives of people positively.
” Others are Anilelerin Road, Share Township Road, Share Oke Ose, Omuaran And Share General Hospital, Oke Opin Township Road, etc.
Akorede noted that the projects spread across all the 16 local government areas in the state.
He reiterated that the governor will continue to implement projects in line with his shared prosperity agenda for the state
