Hajj 2022: Saliu Mustapha Urges Pilgrims To Pray for Peaceful Elections
The Turaki of Ilorin and All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial Candidate for Kwara Central, Mallam Saliu Mustapha has implored Muslims from Nigeria observing this year’s Hajj to pray peace elections.
Saliu Mustapha in a statement issued on Wednesday wished pilgrims from Kwara Central and other parts of the state successful Hajj exercise.
According to him, Considering that this journey also affords you the opportunity of a deeper closeness to Allah, I request that you kindly remember our community, Ilorin Emirate; Kwara State and, indeed, Nigeria in your prayers, especially as we approach the election and transition year.
“I congratulate you for making this holy and glorious journey. It is my prayers that Allah accepts your hajj, grants you all its blessings here and in the hereafter and gives you a chance to perform hajj every other year. Ameen!”
“There are several things that Hajj teaches us: unity, brotherhood and sacrifice. In Hajj, Muslims all over the world will join you in the spirit of sacrifice and further commit to building bridges and healing our world.
“As you therefore go through this physically demanding journey, I pray Allah (SWT) blesses you with good health and the strength to complete all your religious obligations during your stay at the holy land.”
