HAKEEM LAWAL Congratulates New Grand Kafi, Kamaldeen
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Kwara State, Hakeem Lawal has hailed the appointment Honourable Justice Abdullateef Kamaldeen as the new Grand Kadi of the State’s Shariah Court of Appeal
Hakeem Lawal in a statement issued on Sunday by his Spokesman, Oluwasegun Abifarin, congratulated Justice Kamaldeen who has now been confirmed as the substantive Grand Kadi of Kwara State by the National Judicial Commission (NJC), describing his elavation as worthy and deserving.
He added that Justice Kamaldeen’s appointment is rooted in his personal accomplishments and noble pedigree.
He maintained that the Grand Kadi is a huge blessing to the State and Sharia Justice system and will always make the state proud of him as the head of the Kwara State Shariah Court of Appeal.
“The confirmation of his appointment is a testimony of his robust pedigree as a disciplined and renown legal officer with impressive credentials,” he said.
The Guber hopefully therefore prayed for God’s protection, inspiration and direction for the new Grand Kadi in his new and important role.
It will be recalled that Justice Kamaldeen was first appointed the Acting Grand Kadi on February 16, 2022 after his predecessor Justice Muhammad Ola AbdulKadir retired from the service.
