In a bid to ease the struggles of vulnerable Kwarans, the Herculean Foundation on Tuesday distributed food items to Oke-Ode residents.
The food items include bags of rice, salts and cash to ease themselves in the struggling economy.
Recall that the foundation in 2019 drilled seven motorized boreholes with the aim of providing portable and clean water to the community.
The foundation also provides eye care treatment for people with eye defects in the community.
Mr. Christopher Olusegun Ayodele Omotunde, the face of the foundation stated that the reason that embarked on the journey.
According to him, doing this will reduce burden of residents in this trying time.
“The poverty rate in Nigeria is alarming and the people in rural environments are affected. They don’t have a lot of infrastructural development so we decided to make things easier for them by improving the social amenities, feeding, and health care system.
The foundation has also been to Omupo, Amoyo, Oreke, Oruago, Share, Ora, Babanloma, Idofian, Shagbe, Owode-Ofaru, and Offa, among other communities in Kwara State.
