Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Paravolley Commences in Teslim Balogun Stadium
The Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Paravolley Challenge Cup organized by Organized by the Paravolley federation of Nigeria and sponsored by TeamNigeria4Change has commenced at Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
The 2-day Paravolley Challenge Cup began on Saturday with eight teams participating in event to honor Lagos State First Lady, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu.
Our Correspondent reports that the teams comprising four male and teams each were camped at Teslim Balogun Stadium for training.
TeamNigeria4Change President, Bestman Nze-Jumbo while addressing newsmen on Opening ceremony said the Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu Paravolley Challenge Cup aims at driving the inclusiveness policy of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in Lagos.
Bestman Nze-Jumbo said the teams were properly kitted with branded jerseys to give participants sense of belonging.
According to him, we will continue to support the good works of the humane Governor and his first lady. The first lady is known for supporting the less privileged and this is another way of supporting people with physical disabilities.
“The First Lady message is to challenge them not to be hampered by their disability. They will get quality prizes during the finals on Sunday. We are expecting bigwigs to attend in order to encourage the teams.”
