Ifelodun LG Chairman, Yusuf Distributes Motorcycles to Local Security Outfits 

The Executive Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Abdulrasheed Femi Yusuf, has convened a strategic security meeting with the local security outfit at the Council Secretariat in Share on Monday.

The meeting was part of the Chairman’s immediate response to the recent security situation in parts of the local government area.

As part of the intervention, the Chairman commenced the distribution of 20 motorcycles to both government security agencies and the Local Government Security Team to enhance mobility and rapid response.

The Chairman reassured residents of the firm commitment of both the Federal Government and the Kwara State Government to securing lives and properties.

“Our local security outfit is working hand in hand with conventional security agencies to bring these criminal elements to justice, and we are already seeing encouraging results,” he said.

“I want to assure our communities that government is taking swift and strategic steps to strengthen peace and order.”

He stressed that security is a collective responsibility and urged residents to cooperate fully with security personnel and report any suspicious activity in their surroundings.

Yusuf also reaffirmed the continued support of the Kwara State Government in sustaining peace across Ifelodun and beyond.
