IGP Egbetokun Will Improve Police Welfare Package- Kogi CP
The Commissioner of Police (CP), Kogi State Command, Mr Bertrand Onuoha says the present Inspector General of Police is doing a lot to improve the welfare package of those in service and the retirees.
Onuoha stated this in a dinner organised by the command in respect of the retirement of Superintendent of Police (SP) Aguebor Elvis at the Felele primary school after his thirty five years in service.
The C.P said there is serious hope for an improved packages to motivate police officers assuring that the command would continue to tap into the experience of retired officers where necessary.
He congratulated the celebrant on the occasion describing him as diligent and disciplined officer who has given his best to his father land.
The CP also advised those in service to always emulate good precepts laid by their superior emphasising that people would always be remembered for both good and bad that emanates from an individual.
In a remark, the celebrant and Superintendent of Police (SP), Aguebor Elvis thanked friends and well wishers for their presence attributing his success in service to his respect for the rules and ethics of his profession.
He promised to remain committed to an ideals and expectations of an experienced officers and urged those in service to always play by the rules.
Present at the occasion are friends, colleagues within and outside the state including traditional rulers from Felele, Bassa, Yoruba community, Oworo as well as clerics in Islam and Christianity.
