The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) House of Representatives candidate for Baruten/Kaiama Federal Constituency, Musa Idris Buko has promised to use democratic governance instruments to solve challenges facing his people, when elected.

Musa Idris Buko disclosed this in a letter issued to his supporters ahead 2023 electioneering campaigns.

He expressed optimism that PDP will the forthcoming elections in Kwara State.

His words:

“We intentionally don’t report our activities on social media, but we have loads of facts of all we do at the grassroots and beyond to ensure success comes 2023.

“On our own part, we are very much conversant with the needs, and problems of our people and community, even before joining partisan politics. We are not novice in the dynamics of politics, governance, sustainable community development and how to explore instruments of democratic governance to solve our challenges back home and in our Constituency.

“Therefore, I assure you of bringing all experiences acquired since the last 25 years to bear in working very hard to make you all proud and rewrite the history of quality, and all-inclusive representation, with special emphasis on human capital development, and attraction of high-end Federal projects, and presence to our areas, using the legislative powers enshrined in the 1999 Constitution.”

Dear, Sirs and Madams.

I wish to express profound gratitude to the overwhelming support, sacrifice, strategic engagements, campaigns and grassroots penetration with the message of our mandate and political party.

I may be away, but very much aware of all you do in your capacities to ensure we win all our elections. I appreciate this in no small amount. We intentionally don’t report our activities on social media, but we have loads of facts of all we do at the grassroots and beyond to ensure success comes 2023.

On our own part, we are very much conversant with the needs, and problems of our people and community, even before joining partisan politics. We are not novice in the dynamics of politics, governance, sustainable community development and how to explore instruments of democratic governance to solve our challenges back home and in our Constituency. Therefore, I assure you of bringing all experiences acquired since the last 25 years to bear in working very hard to make you all proud and rewrite the history of quality, and all-inclusive representation, with special emphasis on human capital development, and attraction of high-end Federal projects, and presence to our areas, using the legislative powers enshrined in the 1999 Constitution.

In no distant time in shaa Allah, we ‘ll be unveiling a very few of our plans and how to get it done, bi izniLLAH. Let us sustain the momentum, till we come to celebrate our success on the 23rd or 24th February 2023, in shaa Allah. I urge us to be very cultured, exemplary, focus on issues and market us to the electorates, who own the votes to cast for us. We should not be distracted, and never be provoked to engage in political thuggery, destruction of properties, not to talk of taking lives; throughout our journey to success. Power belongs to Allah, and He (SWT) gives whom He Wills, and seizes from whom He Wills. Therefore, nothing can or changes what Allah has ordained, hence the need to be very cautious in all we do, as no property or life is worth to be lost in our journey to victory in a couple of months (in shaa Allah).

I salute your courage, and cherish the incredible support and love showered on us and our party all along.
