United States President, Donald Trump has announced sweeping retaliatory measures against Colombia following refusal to accept deported migrants.
According to Reuter, Colombia earlier on Sunday rejected two United States military aircrafts carrying migrants being deported by Trump administration
Trump in a swift reaction introduced a 25% tariff on Colombian goods, a travel ban, visa revocations for Colombian leadership, financial sanctions, and increased inspections on nationals.
This is a big move on both sides given the allyship between the two.
