INSECURITY: Senator Ashiru Meets Professional Hunters, Donates N1m To Boost Their Efficiency

 

The prevailing insecurity ravaging the country, which Kwara South Senatorial District also has its ugly tales, ranging from kidnapping, highway robbery, amongst others.

A body of security group under the auspices of Professional Hunters Association have swung into action in curbing insecurity in the district and its environs modestly. This association will fetch out alleged perpetrators and hand them over to the Nigeria Police Force.

In an effort to crop up security and to make Kwara South Senatorial District free from all forms of insecurities, the Senator representing Kwara South Senatorial District, Senator Oyelola Ashiru, earlier in the week met the delegates of the Professional Hunters Association of Nigeria, Kwara South Chapter at the senatorial office in Ajase-Ipo.

The Association that was honorably led by Aare Isiaku Adisa, the association presented there demands to the distinguished Senator. According to Mr. Sule Jimoh, the secretary of the association, the demands will enhance its members in the surveillance works.
The demand includes:
– Mobility, 10 motor cycles per LG.
– Patrol van per Local Government
– Empowerment for the members.
– Access to loan that is repayable.
– To assist with completion of the Hunter house.
– Official recognition from necessary government quarters.

Senator Oyelola Ashiru in his response, appreciated the Professional Hunters for their selflessness, dedication and assiduousness in their duties.

“You know every nooks and crannies of every community in our Senator District, as you all have agreed unanimously to make our district a crime free zone, it is our duty to stand by you and assist to bring your efforts to fruitfulness, because you are the solution to insecurity in our local area”.

The Senator donated One Million Naira as a start up to the association to  beef up security in the Senatorial District and to ensure efficiency among our patriotic Hunters Association.
