KidsTech Africa Holds Mini-exhibition In Ilorin
Kids tech Africa organized mini-exhibition for children between the age of 6 and 15 on fundamentals of programming languages and technologies.
Kids Tech Africa is a digital company building a generation of young people who will transform Africa’s tech ecosystem from being the consumer of technology to innovators and producers.
Mr Dumoye Ayobami in his welcome address said the KidsTech Africa team has actively engaged the kids and given them the required knowledge and skills needed to thrive and develop in the tech world.
Projects exhibited include Game creation, Animation, Language Translator, Anti kidnapping App, Geolocator App, Health System App, Talk to Doctor App, School Management System App, Hotel Booking System, Restaurant Management System, Text to Audio App, Mini Accounting System App, Phone Number Locator, and other innovative projects using different programming languages.
The mini-exhibition held at the KidsTech Africa Head Office in Ilorin was attended by the Kwara state Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo, Director Project and Empowerment, ABS Foundation, Engr Otukoko Olayinka Ibrahim and other dignitaries worthy of acknowledgement.
The commissioner for Education in her speech applauded the KidsTech Africa Team and also promise to always support and encourage them. She also advised all parents to try and expose their children as much as they can to ICT by enrolling them at KidsTech Africa. She then went ahead to access the Participants projects and advised them never to stop learning and developing themselves in ICT generally.
Engr. Otukoko Yinka Ibrahim, Director Project and Empowerment, ABS Foundation, In his speech said, the program is a brilliant one and worthy of emulation, congratulated the graduating participant and urge all parents to keep supporting their wards. He furthered by commending the team for impacting the young people.
Parents expressed their delight and commended the KidsTech Africa team for getting their kids involved in technology and holding the mini exhibition program.
The kids have been handed their certificate of participation and the Most outstanding performances were selected from the parents and other participants assessments.
