Kier Starmer has emerged as Prime Minister of United Kingdom following Labour Party landslide victory in Thursday’s election.
Labour Party won 410 out of the 650 seats in the Commons – the Conservatives are on just over 110. The Lib Dems make big gains, while the SNP lose most of their seats.

Former PM Liz Truss, who’s lost her seat, has been speaking to the BBC’s Ros Atkins.
“We haven’t delivered sufficiently on the policies people want,” she admits, saying her party failed to keep taxes low or reduce immigration.
