Kogi 2023: Women Forum Endorse APC Candidate, Ododo

A vibrant political women group under the aegis of ‘Lokoja Women Forum’, has endorsed and continued to drum support for the candidacy of a former Kogi State Auditor General of local Government, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo as the best man to occupy Lugard House.

Addressing women from across Lokoja I and II constituency on Sunday, the group’s leader and Mobilizer, Hajiya Fatima Marka Abbas charged the women to go out in their thousands by November and vote for the gender-friendly Ahmed Usman Ododo.

Marka, who was once a Women Leader of the party in Ward E, a stakeholder and mobilizer, with a platform with over 3000 thousand members, strong grassroots structure and network across Lokoja-Koto, stated that the future of women and the state can be guaranteed only in the hands of Ododo

She urged the electorates especially the women to focus only on the candidacy of Ahmed Usman Ododo of the APC as he is the only candidate that can deliver the votes for the party in the forthcoming kogi gubernatorial election.

In their response, the large gathering of women unanimously threw their weight and support behind her, saying they know they can trust her judgement as she led them to national and state visibility in previous election

They assured her of their unalloyed loyalty and expressed their confidence in her leadership and guidance.
