KWARA 2023: EDU APC HOLDS UNITY RALLY, BACKS GOV ABDULRAZAQ’S REELECTION

 

Saturday 27th, August 2022 will remain a memorable day for APC stakeholders in EDU LGA as they met to consolidate the unity and progress of the party.

Prominent party leaders, stakeholders and members of the party across the length and breadth of the local government converged in Lafiagi-Headquarters Edu LGA for the all-important meeting that re-affirmed their commitment to work together as a team for the victory of the party in the 2023 general election.

In his welcome address, the Local Government party chairman thanked all party members for embracing the spirit of peace and reconciliation.

Presentations from party leaders across the ten wards were taken. Speaker after Speaker, the Stakeholders from the wards acknowledged the government’s strides to bring development to the grassroots. They also presented the critical development needs of various communities. While making their presentations, all stakeholders called for more welfare packages to motivate party volunteers.

In his goodwill remark, a party chieftain in the State and Chairman of the occasion, Alhaji. Abubakar Ndakene(Marafa of Shonga), called on the members of the party to stay focused, remain united and mobilize support for the development agenda of the APC government.

The Party Chieftain also reassured the party stakeholders that the feedback from all the wards will be conveyed to the appropriate quarters.

The Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril, in his speech also called for unity of members of the party and thanked the people of Edu for supporting the APC administration in the state.

Also contributing to the discussions at the rally, TIC Chairman of the local government, Mohammed Aliyu (Labasa) called on the members of the party to embrace unity for the development of the local government.
