Kwara 2027: Prof Abubakar Sulaiman Yet To Declare Ambition – Aide
The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Professor Abubakar Sulaiman has distanced himself from news about his declaration for Kwara governorship position ahead 2027 general elections.
Prof Abubakar Sulaiman in a statement issued on Thursday by his Media Aide, Mohammad Abdulkadri described the news as fake and not emanating from the media team.
The statement read: “The Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman Media Team hereby distance itself from the recently published fake news as indicated above by the Thegolden24/7 online news outfit.
“The said online outfit blatantly alleged that Prof Abubakar Sulaiman had officially declared his intention to contest the Kwara State Governorship position in the 2027 general elections.
“The fake news lacked the basic essential ingredients of professional news writing techniques for failing to establish “where and When” our principal made such a declaration.”
He urged media practitioners to disregard any statement that is without name and designation of official Aide of NILDS Director General.
